I gotta hand it to whatever advertising firm Informa hired to make these, there really is something almost poetic about GDC's advertising being "an AI-looking depiction of an industry staple being destroyed with no clear elaboration of what comes after." Masterclass in unintentionally nailing it.

Decided to finally make a small repo where I might add small gdscript code snippets for Godot I've been using and think others might find useful.

Started off with a snippet that returns the mouse cursor back to the original position when releasing the button after dragging.

Heads up if you're using @jetbrains.com IDEs: They're gonna start defaulting to stealing all your code if you're not on a commercial license. Which really sucks. Luckily it's still possible to opt-out, for now

In Final Fantasy XII, they project a render of the screen at lower resolution onto some water planes so it makes everything underneath blurry

If you turn texture filtering on and off, it really enhances the effect. Neat seeing texture filtering actively making a low res effect look better
