I am not the famous UK chef—though I once ate at one of his Padstow, Cornwall restaurants.
Pluribus Episode 7 was beautifully conceived and executed by the creative team and we discovered that Carol and Manousos need the Others as much as the Others need them.

ICE now admits that hundreds of children were held past the legal 20-day custody limit set to protect their safety.

Five were kept for 168 days.

Some faced unsafe conditions and went days without medical care.

This crosses a moral line.
About 400 immigrant children were detained longer than the recommended limit, ICE admits
Legal advocates concerned over the prolonged detention of immigrant children in federal custody are sounding the alarm before the federal court. U.S.

Vaccines are one of the greatest public health successes in history. Newborn hepatitis B shots have prevented disease and cancer for decades.

Rolling back a universal, evidence-based recommendation is not “parental choice.”

It is an open invitation for infections to rise again.

How to buy yourself a needy malignant narcissist? Just offer him a phony, made up "Peace Prize" & he's all your's!!!
No need for a formal ceremony as he'll snatch from the box & put it on all by himself. Both laughably pathetic AND pathetically laughable. 🤡 🫣

RIP Frank Gehry - I was privileged to meet him after meetings at his offices. Also, in 1998 when I purchased a building in Laguna Beach, I discovered he had designed the office spaces back 20 years earlier: sharply angled walls (nothing symmetrical) and chain link fence surrounded the stairwell!

At West Point, cadets walk past a plaque that says officers must follow the law if orders ever conflict with it. That is how our military has protected this nation for generations.

When 6 members of Congress, all who served, reaffirmed that simple principle, the President called it “treason.”

Deputy Speaker Mike Johnson is presiding over a collapsing caucus because he handed the Speakership to Donald Trump. Trump gives the orders and Johnson follows them. That is why he’s the weakest Speaker in generations and why Americans in both parties are tired of the dysfunction.

Vince Gilligan’s new series starring Rhea Seehorn from his “Better Call Saul”
Is riveting! Hearkens back to early sci-fi classics but is also suggestive of current AI implications. Rhea is a fearless actor. No idea where this will take place us but it’s must-see.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

Newbie CIA lawyer assigned to research gets accidentally sucked into hazardous ops activities. Fast paced, snappy and often funny dialogue, action packed twists and turns. Lead actor Noah Centineo, a cross between Mark Ruffalo and Brendan Fraser. Sadly, Netflix cancelled after only 2 seasons.
