It's a double rainbow outside my office window! I'd still rather telework though.

Replace Chuck Schumer with Cory Booker.

That’s it.

That’s the skeet.

If things don't go well for me, I've decided my Plan B is to open a bodega with the primary intent of housing bodega cats.

There will be chips, soda, and made-to-order burritos, but it's mostly about the cats.

One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.

The actual number is less than 1%.

Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.

Reports indicate Musk locked government workers out of the OPM system and is trying to seize control of the Treasury.

His personal staff sleep on cots in the building and work 24/7.

This is a coup.

And your reps just went home for the weekend like it was a normal Friday.

DO SOMETHING.

The constitutional crisis was not Trump’s funding freeze. The crisis is the purge of IG’s, the handover of the OPM to unsworn/civilian insurrectionists, the attempt by Musk to gain control of the Treasury’s computers. The destruction of the FBI, and DOJ Public Corruption Agents and Attorneys is.

The awful news that Elon Musk clashed with a top Treasury official in an effort to access govt payment systems raises a crucial question: Did Trump authorize this, or not?

I talked to former officials who explain why this is a key question, and why it's so alarming:

Trump and Elon Musk Just Pulled Off Another Purge—and It’s a Scary One
Did Musk’s alleged effort to access the government’s payment systems have Trump’s blessing? Or was he going rogue? Either scenario is bad, but one’s a little worse.
