Yes, absolutely. It's so difficult when someone who *should* be a force for good like this turns out to be abusive. And so hard to talk about. I'm so sorry everyone in the sphere around her has been affected like this, and thank you for helping clarify. Good luck to CA folks. ❤️

I just had a comment of mine tagged with a new Skywatch label about ~8 hrs ago, which was why I was trying to find @offline.mountainherder.xyz in the first place (to tell her that I loved it!) so it seems to be up.

Social media is very effective at creating sin-eaters. A sin-eater is different from an ephemeral main-character. It's a recurring "well would you look at that guy" person you see screenshotted on your feed constantly, who is meant to stand in for the evils of some larger group you dislike

A lot of the photos in my collection aren’t perfectly in focus, but I have to buy them anyway because it was still a kitty that somebody loved! Besides, how could I resist the happy body language and little eyebrows on this one?

I keep thinking this exact thing. They can try to move the Overton window and they're having some success there in terms of institutions, but you cannot change the minds of hundreds of millions of people by fiat.

I am so pleased that she seems to have clicked with a bunch of her colleagues. Like I assumed she'd make work friends, she seems decent and friendly, but you worry about The First One Of Us, you know? It's so nice to see.
