It’s impossible to look away from the phone these days — to turn away from the news when the next post is worse than the last. Is it doom scrolling? Or is it just being aware of what happens… waiting for the moment when the tide shifts, and things either start to get better, or unfathomably worse.

I live in Texas, DFW area to be more precise. I drive about two hours a day on the local highways here and up until the last month was pretty used to seeing Trump bumper stickers several times while driving.
It’s now dawning on me that I haven’t seen one in weeks.
