Life tip: When buying used electronics, ask the seller to record a video showing all functions working - this creates both proof and tutorial for you.

I just learned this today, but if you are a creator using Squarespace for your personal website, there is a setting where you can block known AI crawlers under Settings > Website > Crawlers

Oh and let's not forget this trick RAM manufacturers don't want you to know about.

8 years ago, an idea popped up and I started this as a prototype using pre-rendered character, by the time I learned 3D and animation, and found a way to import 3D models into Doom.

INDIE DEV TIP: when making 2D assets, if possible do them in WHITE with detail in shades of grey. Solid white assets can be tinted and reused elsewhere at zero cost, so one impact effect could be mud, vomit, water with the flick of a colour slider. If the *asset* is red, it can only ever be blood.
