May 2025 was the second warmest May on record after 2024, at around 1.4C above preindustrial levels in the ERA5 dataset. NH summer months generally show a bit less warming since preindustrial, as the world has warmed faster in winter months.

Hole-nesting birds adapt to the urbanised world by using human-made structures (drain pipes, ventilation openings, mailboxes etc). Report those unique places in an @inaturalist.bsky.social project run by @igstadnicki.bsky.social and help to protect wildlife.

Arkadaşlar, sadece dünden bugüne on binlerce insan buraya geldi. Henüz eşik kitle oluşmadı ancak buradaki sayıyı yetersiz bulmak Covid'in ilk günlerinde "sadece 20 kişi yakalanmış abi bundan bir şey olmaz" demek gibi... Üstel artış kavramına güvenip çevrenize yayın ve arkanıza yaslanıp izleyin :)
