Not your average gamer because I grew up with strict screen time limitation.
Spirited away- watched it when I was 6 and I thought Haku was a girl the whole time. that’s how I realized I’m attracted to girls.
Not really disappointed when I knew he’s a guy. That’s how I know I’m bi.
In honor of Hayao Miyazaki's birthday, what's your favorite Studio Ghibli film? Doesn't have to be the one you think is "the best," just the one that nestled in your heart. Mine is Howl's Moving Castle.

I spent the first 9 months of 2025 very happy and carefree--the best time of a PhD program is after you got in but haven't started it, they say. BUT then my life became a crazy mix of family bad news and overwhelming life responsibilities. At least I finally have a steady income so 7/10.

I always go fully qualitative on new year resolutions. No number goals. Just vibes
Right when it comes to new year's resolutions I'm not doing them, I'm doing plans instead. Using up that scrap yarn, doing another Mabel jumper but better this time, not counting the books I read so I do not feel oppressed by the tyranny of more numbers, etc

idk if it’s just me but I feel like my Spotify shuffle doesn’t really shuffle. Feels like it only repeat my recently played songs. Maybe this is why

Recently played this demo. I would say this is the type of game that you need to pace yourself to get a better experience. For me one map per day is a healthy amount.

(Btw I play all three difficulties in a row in the order of hard-normal-easy. Cuz Speed run easy mode feels like a good reward)

i finally got hbomax subscription to watch #Hacks #HacksHBO for the first time. I binge watched all four seasons as fast as possible and love everything about it (except the parts when real life celebrities play themselves)

even though representation is not everything but one of the main motivations for me to buy the game, join the discord server, and start actually caring for it, is how diverse the NPCs are. Especially for a game that sets in a western town.
Valve has now rejected my complaint, confirming that "I don't like muslims" is a valid reason to leave a negative review on a game on Steam

This is where we're at now.
