Remember that when some electoral candidate is offering to cut your taxes.
Taxes are a way for all of us to get 'volume discounts' on health care/transportation systems/education/infrastructure.

I'm told for decades the pay between SK and AB teachers favoured AB by 10%,f so SK trained teachers could be poached to come to AB.
Now AB teachers paid 5% less than SK. Will we see a drain to SK, which also has cheaper real estate/cost of living?

"My people" knew Manning's family. And 'my people' were grifters and arseholes - and AB politicians.
That they emulated Manning told me a lot about AB politics.
I've had no use for Manning and his ilk since I was a kid, watching & listening on the household stairs.

We aren't huge income people.
But there were/ARE things that need to be done to help our offspring exist to any future comfort.
I wasn't a stan of either Trudeaus, but they had more balls than any CPC ldr to say we owe the future to try harder to protect Gaia.
Backing off is selfish/cowardly. JMO.

I'm wowed by the patience and skill it takes 'real' photographers to compose and produce an image.
It's why I've zero use for AI produced images that don't put in the time or patience to show Earth in all its glory.

Quick/easy for evenings we're running fr the house.
Vegs can be added.
We keep gnocchi in pantry for times we slipped up on timing: no time for rice/potatoes/pasta.
Thanks for this one.
(Tho we consider our household Kings of Lasagna. We do 'Lasagna Factory' with gallons of home made sauce each yr.

We had enough of Ticketmaster decades ago. Concerts are 'discretionary' purchases and if I have to give up my principles to go to a show b/c it's TICKETMASTER selling the tickets - see my back.

I don't know, but there ought to be. A 2023 Policy Options analysis of major Canadian oil companies shows over 70% of their significant shareholders are foreign. About 70% of Alberta's tar sands is owned by foreign entities. Yet, Smith is shilling for them.
