I know we all spend our entire lives signing petitions, but if by any chance you know and care about the cafe at Parliament Hill you might like to add your name to this one
Just been up there - apparently they've been told to be out by the end of January, after 44 years. They're fighting hard, and really want people to sign this petition. Please spread it wide!

@c20society.bsky.social My friend and I had the most wonderful time on the Postwar Clerkenwell tour. Frank was brilliant, and the double act with John Allan was fabulous; interesting and v entertaining. They need their own show! Thanks also to Lukasz. Cannot praise highly enough. A 2025 highlight.

In 2016 I was bitten several times, with a spreading bullseye. Thankfully v strong (and really unpleasant) antibiotics resulted in an all-clear test result for me.

Great Crested Grebe weed-dance! 😍
I've never had any luck photographing this special courtship, and this pair of Grebes were a long way away when they decided to share their mutual love, but I like the golden setting. 😀
