Read pretty far down a NIMBY-ful thread before I worked out what ZPG stands for. Hot take: if we don't deal with global warming, you'll get your zero population growth -- at the cost of the animals and birds. Is that #OKBoomer?
What is wrong with wanting to keep the charm which drew you to an area? I bought wooded acreage on Puget Sound for that reason: I love having peace and quiet and animals and birdsong. And it's going to stay that way. ZPG!

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

The most vocal Christians never mention the Beatitudes. They demand the 10 Commandments be posted in public buildings. That's Moses; not Jesus. No one demands the Beatitudes be posted anywhere.

Sadly, #MeToo was barely a ripple in the ocean of powerful men getting away w/ victimizing women & then blaming *them* for getting victimized. (For the hard-of-thinking, “victimize” is a euphemism b/c I don’t wanna get blocked) “How long, O Lord, how long?”
Many are obsessed with Virginia naming names in her memoir.
What if I told you… we already know them—she already said them in court
