Despite the crummy weather (that I biked in to get to), the grand opening of the @kcstreetcar.org Main St Extension was full of energy. Good speakers and crowd. My (first of many to come!) ride back was great - there are a lot of panoramic views I hadn't imagined as you near downtown!

New bike infra exploration, I biked up to the end of the new 152 Trail north extension. Very pretty and connects the Line Creek all the way up to Ambassador! Only a few miles from my dream Prairie View/London Ave airport trail.

Turns out the new 27th paint is just for an eastbound lane. There's a sharrow marking up the hill for westbound. Hopefully the new lanes gets some protection because there were already cars parked in it.

As I hoped, new cycle track on 27th extending from Gillham. No connection to the Main streetcar lanes for one block though. Also, heading west on 27th at Gillham will require two crossings. Still nice to be getting this!
