One day I will learn how to convey how big the moon looks with a camera, but I sense my iPhone and the default camera app will not be what does it.

Novelisations addition: Night Moves reprint courtesy of @plumeriapics.bsky.social . Still have my eye out for an original but great to be able to read it. And thanks to @priscillapage.bsky.social for writing about the movie so I was hunting for it in the first place! www.patreon.com/posts/128172...

Ballerina should definitely have made more in the advertising of its Gymkata homage, had a good time with it.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was pro public transit. The Fugitive was anti big pharma. No internet around to defend the villains. What an age to be alive and into movies.

Le Comte de Monte-Cristo (2024) is just a wonderful movie. It’s a surprisingly brisk 3 hours that rattles by, and some well placed changes to the story keep it flowing in 2024, where a tale of successful revenge against venal corrupt evil men is wildly cathartic. Can’t recommend it enough!

Section 31 movie review: At least it’s better than a lot of Discovery, clearly heavily tinkered with in editing, and makes it pretty clear no one at Paramount has any idea what to do with Star Trek on a fundamental level. Star Trek should not remind me of Suicide Squad!
