Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

I think too often physics students unconsciously have the idea that some people have brains that are "natural" for physics and some don't and who knows maybe that's true to some extent but regardless of natural tendency at some point everyone has to practice practice practice

develop a professional intuition, and even then you still get things wrong regularly. Trying to automate this into an AI by dumping Pubmed into an LLM will just give you a machine that confidently produces garbage that vaguely sounds scientific to laypeople. But maybe that's exactly what they want.
