I'm not an iPhone guy, but I think you have to turn off the entire "Find My" feature in your settings.

But again this is a completely different attack vector than the one that is the primary concern. Disabling find my is also a risk as you can't remotely wipe a device with it off.

I believe iPhones act as an air tag by default even when off. It's not the same attack vector or as easy as the cell signal but it is trackable and I'd suggest turning off that feature when privacy is of utmost importance.

Oh and by the way, the reason I know the names Coon, Powell, Briseno, and Wind (which I do, off the top of my head) is that I vowed to never call them the "Rodney King Riots" because what did Rodney King have to do with it? Why does he get named and the perpetrators don't?

honestly, probably would have switched a couple refreshes ago but we're on Google Fi and iphone support was not quite 100% there yet. (and I am VERY happy with Fi and won't change until Google ruins or kills it)

yeah, my work and personal laptops are MBP. wife and kid's personals are MBPs. we all have ipads. kid is already on iphone so screentime can sync on all his devices.

just wife and I's androids left...
