And the law supports that they are uniquely targeted and worth more than civilians. Crimes against officers are punished more severely. They are given higher value by the courts, by the law. They have become a caste, and it is poisonous to a free society. This guy is a cop acting like a cop.

Like this entire enterprise rests on this apparently now-fully-accepted stance that everyone who is assisting Trump in blatantly breaking laws will somehow not be held accountable for it. He's not going to pardon everyone and even if he does there's other ways to punish this criminality

Turbine 5 (T5) at the Sewerage & Water Board Carrollton Plant was declared down yesterday for at least two weeks at the height of hurricane season, which is very bad for drainage. The outage also puts the city's water system at higher risk, which S&WB did not mention. (1/x)
