Losing my goddamned mind.

We can condemn political violence without valorizing a destructive, hateful bigot.

As we head to Election Day, for folks who voted early, thank you. I know some folks have not yet made up their minds. I am making an appeal to you.

Please do not rank Cuomo. I have worked with every single one of the candidates for mayor. I will tell you he does not like us.

Not only that, Stephen Miller has explicitly railed against ICE for supposedly focusing on criminals and pushed them to go after Home Depot and 7-Eleven.

This is ridiculous man. People who don't work or can't work deserve healthcare too.
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has signed a law implementing work requirements for 171,000 Iowans on Medicaid.

In practice these requirements are bureaucratic nightmares that don't save costs or increase employment but throw working people off their health care.

Multiple things are allowed to matter at the same time
Murphy: "Everything that's happened in the last 7 days - the fight w/ Musk & now the deployment of the National Guard - is probably also a distraction from the main story, which is that Trump is trying to pass probably the most unpopular piece of legislation he will attempt to move through Congress"

Those are not "police" or "law enforcement" in the streets of LA.

They are uniformed, heavily armed, and conducting military operations on orders of the Trump Admin.

Whatever agency they're supposedly from, by any reasonable definition those are SOLDIERS waging war against the public on home soil.

It’s not just that it’s clearly intentional, it’s that it’s clearly intentional knowing that he’s being recorded. They know they can do whatever they want with complete impunity.
Watch the slow motion: it appears to me that the officers discuss the photographer and reporter before the one on the end fires on them (it looks to me like he's aiming at the camera, not the reporter, but you decide)

These past couple chapters of Sakamoto Days have been fantastic. The action is as fun as always, but the tension building has been great too.
