I’m profoundly uninterested in the “cultural safety” of the status quo, especially when that culture is predicated on a violent, racist and discriminatory dominance. You do not get to invoke this language to erase those already disadvantaged and discriminated against - it is entirely obscene.

A lot of people’s problems with injustice and cruelty is that they don’t like being aware of it and would do anything to go back to pretending that nothing is wrong

It is interesting/frustrating to see how often people being asked to help resolve a problem is treated as an accusation of causing the problem.
