I think you've nailed it. The Trump policies of shoving AI down our throats while also depriving us of vaccines lines up perfectly with your analysis. Bonus: Trump removing Environmental Protection Agency laws, so that whomever isn't wiped out by disease will be taken out by pollution.

Make this make sense. (Trick question; you can’t. Hint - the EPA is a Federal agency.)

“The final rule announced on Thursday argues that the 1970 Clean Air Act applies only to direct, localized pollution, whereas greenhouse gases spread far and wide and therefore aren’t subject to regulation.”

“In 2013, U.S. EPA officials became sick while inspecting the site. The federal investigators encountered puddles of crude oil on the facility grounds, as well as caustic fumes emanating from the facility, resulting in violations for air quality and other environmental infractions.”

I really need these headlines to stop being like IT’S ILLEGAL TO REGULATE GHGS NOW instead of what’s actually going on, which is that we’re no longer required to consider them in scope of a 56 year old law that didn’t contemplate climate change as an issue

Now, we all know that the Supreme Court has rejected any statutory interpretation argument against the Clean Air Act's definition of pollutant covering greenhouse gases. What this final preamble presupposes is maybe it didn't?

Note industry demands that kind of evidence for health impacts from pollution reductions, which science often delivers. And even then, it's never good enough. Just a complete double standard.
