Setting aside the obvious antisemitism as you pointed out, what is this "US policy paper/Jewish supremacist directive" Miller is talking about here, and why the vitriol against this Saban Center?

Why is Nick Saban the only coach who automatically get credit for every coach who has ever coached under him? Most coaches can only go on one or maybe two coaching trees, but if you've ever been in the same room as Saban, you're apparently on his.

It’s the biggest let down of my childhood and this was roughly the same time as the Saban live action Ninja Turtles show.

How many assistants do you think saban has had in his career? Id say its probably over 100.

there is only one bear bryant and nick saban is his prophet

Saban is a GOAT… Lanning’s path! #goducks

As long as we can have a consensus that UCF were the 2017 nat'l champions after going 13-0, including beating Auburn in the Peach Bowl...we're cool....
Unfortunately, I do have to bring the news that Nick Saban is a Kent State alum. I only spent 2 semesters there.

I haven't watched any news about it today All 4 coaches that made it to next round coached under Saban. Our fans just need to get over that Saban is gone. Give DeBoer a little time.

I read that the Indiana coach coached at Alabama under Saban, and was overlooked by Alabama to fill the head coach’s job when Saban retired. Too late now, Indiana is paying him over $11 million per year and he has a chance to build his own legacy there.

Alabama FB HC doesn’t suck, he is doing as well as Al could hope to in this age of cfb. Saban, Bryant, Warner, nor Heisman can overcome the structural mountains that lie between Tuscaloosa Alabama and the natty when you can’t exclusively have 20 recruits who’s uncles work at booster’s businesses

Coach Saban said last week it all depends on which Bama team shows up. All through the week the analysts were saying the Tide can possibly take it all. Today they're throwing everyone under the bus. 😬

Free agency + Saban 2.0
What's the best thing you've read so far that explains why Indiana FB is able to kick so much ass this season, despite the Blue Chip theory and most other conventional wisdom saying they shouldn't?

Besides "Cignetti is an unsmiling demon lord of darkness who also knows ball"

you said bama was hated and they are not, you were but you are not anymore. Saban left cuz he knew the rest of the big school caught up to Bama. They got their doors blown off in 2 of their final 3 games, do you really believe you deserved a playoff spot?

In the updated edition of Dante’s Inferno, Kiffin and Saban occupy the Judas and Brutus positions in the lowest circle of hell. I gleefully imagine their torment.

I was born the year Coach Bryant came to Alabama. Attended the University when he was still the coach. Watched us struggle for years then came Nick Saban. Nothing can ever change the fun I’ve had. But I wouldn’t write off Bama forever…
January 2, 2026 at 11:11 PM
All 4 head coaches with teams still in the national football championship coached under Nick Saban. 😲
January 2, 2026 at 10:59 PM
Everyone's talking about how bad Indiana beat Alabama. That the mystique is gone at Alabama. Why do you think Saban left. The college football landscape was changing, and he read the room. NIL money and transfer portal getting the way it was he knew it was gonna be hard to maintain that dominance.
January 2, 2026 at 10:10 PM
It’s not enough that espn destroyed the big 12 and the pac 12, they legitimately only want the playoff to include schools they have a financial relationship with going forward, and they have Herbstreit and Saban on there shaking their asses for it every weekend. It’s a disgrace
January 2, 2026 at 10:05 PM
with Indiana walloping Alabama by 5 TDs can you imagine how bad Purdue would have done it given the cutlure of fear of Purdue Nick Saban had?
January 2, 2026 at 9:30 PM
I'm just making point that under Saban, #Alabama recruited a bunch of academically talented people from out of state, who would come for the #football.
That is no longer the case, and there is no other reason to go there now. (U Texas- better #academics, better #city, better #football right now)
January 2, 2026 at 8:48 PM
yeah, that too. one of the reasons I like Lanning is he had the sensibility to not leave #Oregon for the #Alabama job (he had been at Bama as an assistant under Saban, and was offered it before DeBoer)
He respects both his wife's bodily integrity and PNW beauty compared to...uh...Alabama lol

meanwhile, bloomington went and recognized the once in a lifetime opportunity to reposition themselves in the sport, invested massively, got the absolute lightning bolt strike of luck that the coach they hired is an absolute savant, the closest thing to saban in a sport littered with saban clones
January 2, 2026 at 8:07 PM
Last night was the first game I have seen Kirby Smart coach in a long time (since Saban retired) where Smart was easily out-coached.
