春ねむり、新設自主レーベルから第一弾シングル「anointment」リリース&MV公開｜THE MAGAZINE
春ねむりがシングル「anointment」をリリースした。今年1月に、よりDIYかつアナーキーな活動の実践を目指し、独立と自主レーベル『エコラプトメノス』の立ち上げを発表した春ねむり。同レーベルからの第一弾リリースとなる「anointment」は、充実した音楽活動の中で蓄積された経験と知識が体系を為し、新たなフェーズへの突入を感じさせる作品となった。完全セルフ・プロデュースで、彼女の世界観をより堪能できる仕上がりとなっている。呪術や儀礼的な要素を想起させるホーリーなシンセサウンドと、壮大な景観をそのままピクチャしたかのようなブラス・オーケストラサウンド、そしてクラシカルかつパワフルなビートが組み合わさり、禍々しさと神聖さが同時に成立する独特な空間を創り上げている。また、これまでポエトリーやシャウト、ラップをメインボーカルに据えることが多かった彼女が、今作では楽曲全体を通してメロディアスなトップラインとそこに美麗に絡むコーラスラインを採用しており、新しいボーカルの魅力も味わうことができる。anointment（塗油）という儀式は歴史的に権力者の権力的価値を担保し固定化するために用いられてきたが、春ねむりはここで、儀式の内側からそれを成立させている構造そのものに疑問を投げかけている。これまでも破壊と再生を大きな主題として貫いてきた春ねむりだが、聖なるものと忌まれるもの、強いものと弱いもの、それらを規定するシステムに亀裂を入れようと試みる「破壊」と「再生」のシンフォニーは、新たな響きをもたらしている。リリースに伴い、MVも公開された。
