IT'S DONE! I've written my second novel! Around nine months since starting properly, quicker than I've written anything and a hefty first draft that will need a big edit. But it's done! Who knew I had another one in me?!

In between work I am taking small breaks to try and finish #1000wordsofsummer I missed day 12 and 14 because of travel, and then illness. I have tended to listen to music when I’m writing and just chose a random playlist, and Mary Lambert’s We Belong came on and I would like a word w/the universe.

Today’s goal: to write/edit. All told I probably did at least three hours of it, despite some challenges. I didn’t get all the way through the first section like I wanted, I think partially because I was weaving and mixing in the scenes I wrote during the #1000WordsOfSummer, but I did a lot.

Despite the definite positive influence that #1000wordsofsummer had, in getting me past some of my blockers —I was rapidly realising I was writing too much, and still had some key scenes to get completed.
I have reduced in many areas, but I cannot delete a character or remove any massive chunks...
