This wonderful plan of Trinity Training College, Carmarthen dates from October 1898. It includes rooms in which the college servants would have lived and worked in; the ironing room, boot room, buttery and sewing room.

We're currently planning to make clamshell boxes for our small collection (more than pictured!) of sketchbooks. Just need to tell the librarian they can't all be pink.

#Archive30 #ArchivePlan Winterbourne's walled garden was a research facility in the 1950s, as this 1952 plan shows - set out according to the Bentham and Hooker classification. It's planted with cottage garden plants now but the basic layout has not changed. @arascot.bsky.social

The University's predecessor was based in the town centre but moved to the Highfield site around WW1.

Here is a colourful #ArchivePlan. This shows a part of the Linlathen Estate which the Council bought in 1920. This plan from January 1925 shows the plots of land have been feued (sold) between Mains Loan and Forfar Road. The names of the feuers are noted on each plot. #Archive30

🌸 Spring has sprung at Churchill College!
🌹 Planting maps in the College Archive show the architects' plans for trees, flowers and shrubbery across the site, back in 1959-1960.
