Brilliant finish!
Bazball alive and well 💪💙

agree. time for specialist batting coaches (should have already happened), and a recognition that Bazball is just too one dimensional an approach for the wide variety of international surfaces

Bazball latest.
England have now lost their last 11 men's ODIs away from home 😱

Since the World Cup in 2023, they have lost 19 of 27 matches in the format, including six of their last seven

I feel like the problem with the England cricket team is that they don't have enough players who are stubborn when batting. Always looking to get off cool shots rather than piss off the bowlers

Bazball is fun but you need to know when to pull the trigger instead of holding it down

White Bazball off to a flyer then !
January 22, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Been out on the bike. Just catching up with England men’s #cricket.

Has Bazball been abandoned in ODIs then? 4.6 runs an over??
January 22, 2026 at 2:41 PM
1.6 Hazlewood to Duckett, no run. Solid defense to end the over. A steady start. Is BazBall done after just 2 overs? We shall see!

I'll also dig out a photo of my dog for the drinks break. They are good for the soul.🐶

End of Over 2: England 4-0 (Crawley 1, Duckett 3). Hazlewood 1-0-4-0.

It's like watching Bazball fail again and again and again.

Every time I say - they cannot possibly not learn from this, bt they somehow manage to learn nothing.
