updated my spidersona with the mask from my duplicate hobie ^____^

and decided to shoot my brother's while the light is nice. lore in alt text !!

her name is helena kaine (huntress reference just like my irl name im not trying to make her literally me) (i am) but her hero name is spider-lily :) her spider-sense power signature turns into physical tendrils that she calls "the aura of thorns" bc shes emo. she also has psychometric abilites and when fused with the scream symbiote gains telekenisis. basically shes 1610 jessica drew but also kaine parker if they were in elfen lied or galarians or something. the cargo pants are bc shes technically also the black widow of this universe and freelances for shield from time to time, which in this universe is an international organization not tied to any government and has both deep flaws and noble ideals, ultimately striving for world peace but far too willing to sully their hands to get it. spider-lily does the missions she feels are justified, takes the money and all the supplies she can, and fucks off till they call her again.

tommy parker, the spider-man of this world, though the media seems dead set on calling him "synthesis".

one night he recieved a panicked call from his coworker, eddi brock; she had been investigating a case she took on at her second job at alias detective agency. in the abandoned warehouse the trail led to, she found found a wall of rotten black flesh hanging corpses from itself. it tore a piece of itself off, and that became the venom symbiote when it met with her mind. all her stresses, fears, traumas, mainlined directly into the consciousness of a newborn life-form drove it to understandable instability. as it rapidly cloned and matured the symbiote developed a craving for nutrient-rich organ meat which led it to vicious desperation.

spider-man was tracking the bloodtrail the poor creature left in their wake when it leapt from eddi to him, and started probing his mind to see what made him, like eddi, a meddler. it saw the way people looked past young tommy, how they'd force their smiles to drop when he said a word. it saw friends drop him without a second thought and his resilience to still be kind to everyone he got the chance to. a growing shyness, ruptured only by a single unyielding idea: "if this is wrong, someone was wronged. if i can see it as wrong, it's up to me to make it right, for their sake."

"symbiote". its in the name. not a parasite, but a second organism that gives back to its host. that enhances the life of its host, not just its ability. without saying a word, spider-man's ideals convinced a frenzied and totally alien creature of the power in its own goodness, the potential in its own form. now, they work together, as a crimefighting duo.

spider-man is one person. the symbiote is another, though it isnt human. this is important to the kind of hero tommy is. he'll do stuff to antagonize people, because he knows what its like to hurt, but because he's experienced deep exclusion, he'll also never replicate that treatment when it counts.

Ep 3 is my second favorite episode due to all the horror elements that were introduced with the appearance of Knives + the sudden tone shift after the first two eps. I especially loved the moment when Vash follows the bloodtrail, passes the swinging doors and meet Knives in front of the piano.

Pixel art of my kaiju Apocaborg, the cyborg demon. He is a big, kind of classical demon with black horns. He has a cybernetic left eye, a missile launcher on his left shoulder, a laser cannon replacing his right arm, and a big boot replacing his left leg. A wire can be seen leading from the eye to behind him, and then connected to the cannon.
