So many community healthcare services (formerly NHS or not-for-profit CICs) have been been outsourced to private providers since the 2012 Health & Social Care Act. Is the profit motive a factor in the decline in numbers of highly trained district nurses?

have a soft spot for my first one, though: a 370/155 with 2MB of memory (half ferrite core, half Storage Technology DRAM the size of a wardrobe). It ran all of the Dunlop Tyre Division in the UK, Accounts, Payroll for 4 factories and National Tyre Service plus an CICS online system! 3:O)> 3/last

If not, then why would they not choose to be? CICs are liable for corp tax, and cannot be registered for gift aid, two massive benefits over a CIC for this set up.
Charities, however, are restrictive over pay and revenue.
