#CoE’s
I mean, you have de Brunhoff, Barbar, Coe, and two Johnsons, slightly wrong, if you refer to Coe's biography (don't mind the first name) and right in the non-fiction award, although not 2004 for Coe.
I'll give it a A-.

I'm not disputing the cost of cyber crime but I suspect the bill to implement CSRB to be far higher than that. Not only will all ISP's and Data Centre providers need to become compliant, existing COE's will need to dramatically up their game. And that's before we bring critical suppliers in.

The London Stadium is a scaffold held up shithole , never designed to be anything other than an athletics Stadium as per Seb Coe's demands , the bloody thing needs pulling down. We would be no worse off if we were still at the Boleyn .

2/10 Jonathan Coe's "Proof of My Innocence" was an absolute joy to read. Fantastic writing, humor, characters and political commentary. I only just discovered JCoe and am now diving into his back catalog after this and "The Rotters Club"- also brilliant. He's on Bsky and you should follow him.

Coe's original recording is from 1981, so those feel a bit further apart than the other pairs I mentioned. However, apparently there was a George Jones version in 1983, so it and Coe would be an example.

Chris Stapleton covering David Allan Coe’s “Tennessee Whiskey” comes to mind.

If anyone is planning to boycott the “business leaders” or the organisation they are business leaders of, here is the list of the most prominent

Long list of liberal party donors.

Watching s5 of Slow Horses and I want to beat Ho’s face until it resembles spaghetti sauce

He went from antisocial condescending asshole to 1000% steroid incel in 5 seasons

I like Coe more than Roddy and Coe’s a sociopath

It was a lovely treat to wake up to, haha. Coe's the best for doing it!

The Erstwhile Tyler Kyle may have faceplanted in every contest I've entered it in (very in character of it, tbh!), but it has WON for Best Actor and Best Creature Effects in @cblansdell.bsky.social 's Oddly Specific Book Awards 2025!!

I love how 6 Music are plugging ads for this NYE - "Rave Forever until 3 am!". Oh, honey - the majority of listeners are in their 50s/60s, the most you'll get out of us is a few glasses of vino and bed by 12.30am.

I much prefer Riley & Coe's piss take -

Part of the problem, of course, is the CoE's identity is so heavily based around not having a conspicuous identity. It's expressly designed not to be able to defend itself from the shifting tides of temporal politics.

Tommy Robinson carol service is really just the beginning of the CoE’s coming crisis, in which they’re going to have to figure out what to do about their former congregations becoming radicalised into a version of the faith that is aggressive, disavows empathy and has contempt for the weak

Ah, yes. I love Coe's novels.

Interestingly it was subtitled "Don't Lose your Head" and was the basis of Jonathan Coe's legendary political satire "It's a Carve-Up," the best critique of Thatcherite politics ever written (IMO).
