Every year on January 27 an empty old tram runs along the former Warsaw ghetto. It doesn't pick up any passengers in remembrance of those who were then no longer permitted to use a tram and were later deported and murdered. #HolocaustMemorialDay

Finally had some sunshine after days of rain and gales, so it was lovely to get out for a walk. Gave up on one route that was so ankle deep in mud that it threatened to keep my wellies! Today's view from the gap in the hedge up on the cliff -

Our newest rescued giraffe, Pips, likes to tail her Keepers around Kaluku. When a chore takes them further afield, they've devised a clever stopgap – hanging a jacket on her favourite tree so she can browse 'accompanied' by a comforting scent.
