Obviously you do not see the vitriol aimed at SNP supporters from the Alba party. According to them, we are too stupid to understand how d'hondt works. We do understand. We just want independence more than we want rid of unionists and understand that as long as they have a vote, they're represented.

As Welsh Labour sinks below the level where its votes no longer elect Senedd members under d’Hondt, this is already happening. A Labour vote in Cymru is a wasted vote - only voting @plaidcymru.bsky.social or @walesgreenparty.bsky.social will keep Cymru progressive.
If the Greens keep climbing we're gonna see tactical switches away from Labour to keep Reform out.

If a constitutional change is needed anyway, eliminate primaries altogether, go to larger electoral districts and implement a plurality selection method like D'Hondt - or the Jefferson Method, as you might know it.

Democracy is important. Everyone is entitled to be represented in Parliament. That's what d'hondt does. Any tactical voting will be taken apart by Westminster and a referendum will again be refused. The only outcome that will get us anywhere closer to a referendum is a majority for the SNP.

Kon het niet laten om het ook echt door te rekenen want ik zit nu toch in die datasets. Het enige verschil is een zetel van de PVV naar D66. De rest blijft hetzelfde. 😇 Ik heb net zoals nu bij de huidige uitslag de methode van D'Hondt gebruikt.
