it might be her weakest album for me, but i also think it'll grow on me slightly. i don't mind the lyrics being corny, most lyrics usually are anyway, but there's no "who's afraid of little old me"-drumbreak-writing or production moments here either, no lamb-y archer-vibes or anything.

As a practical example, in order to start off my drumbreak, adding these three toms and a kick took me about three days. While the end result was rather obvious from the beginning, I wanted to take my time to make sure that this is the spot where I make this specific commitment.

While what is imagined and what ends up being realized are two different things, I did everything I could to get myself closer to the vision. Coming up with a fitting drumbreak was one of the challenges I faced again.

ok it needs tweaking, but I just developed a pitch shifting algorithm that works only in a certain band that you define.
which means for a drumbreak, you can modify the harmonics from like 50hz > 250hz, stretch them weirdly, but keep all the upper harmonics so it sounds "correct"
