When your chief institutional values are opportunism and entrepreneurialism, these are useful skills!

Houchen has always been more slippery than phlegm.
But the bigger problem is that conservatives view criminality as merely “extreme entrepreneurialism”, -unless it’s THEM who’s been robbed.

It has recently occurred to me that the Centrist NATO Dads can either freak out about unidentified drones and national security, or they can stridently support disruptive drone entrepreneurialism, but they really can’t do both 🤷‍♀️

This is basic entrepreneurialism where entrepreneurs anticipate needs and demands people didn't know they had. I feel like this person just doesn't grasp basic economics.

This is basic entrepreneurialism. Entrepreneurs often identify needs people didn't even know they had.

“As the director of Trump’s Nat’l Econ Council, Hassett’s policy views are barely recognizable to those who have known him for decades.”

Repeatedly reminded that KH, Trump, Don Jr, Ivanka, Musk, Oz, et al all attended the same uni — where the prime principles are entrepreneurialism + opportunism

Only @BBC Today could platform a tax exile who campaigned for Brexit then closed his UK factories and moved his headquarters to Singapore as guest editor to tell us how to make Britain great again via entrepreneurialism and inventiveness.

Brb, hiring eight CERCs in A.I. and Entrepreneurialism
To be perfectly honest I absolutely hate the CERCs (Canada Excellence Research Chairs) program.

You would need to be awake 24/7 to spend that much money over the 8 years, seriously.

You wouldn’t even have enough time in your days to be able to spend that much money (wisely, anyways).

Of course “AI will automate the white collar jobs!” means in practice wiping butt and/or chronic back pain issues at 29 for thee, vibe coded B2B SaaS shitco entrepreneurialism for me

…the College’s genius real estate coups in South Lake Union. Robin is a visionary #LeaderServingJustice who exemplifies how innovative and strategic entrepreneurialism makes the world better for all of us. A sterling role model for our students.

The destruction of science will impact American entrepreneurialism.

Many of the discoveries are commercialized.

Plateaus are important business signals, not slumps. Dont ignore then or battle them. Regroup, take stock and figure out what you really need to take the next step

Doing more of the same won't work, you need to do and think differently this time

Deregulation is synonymous with big business, right? Maybe, but it's smothering small businesses in Canada (and kids trying to sell lemonade). It's time for some review and revision to get entrepreneurialism moving again. www.donotpassgo.ca/p/red-tape-o...
Red tape: Or how I learned to stop worrying and love deregulation
The Competition Bureau's Matthew Chiasson explains that regulatory reform isn't just what big business wants, it's needed to get entrepreneurs moving again

New in TIBG:

I cannot for the life of me think of a single truly insightful piece of commentary or genuinely innovative bit on entrepreneurialism from Weiss ever. And yet here she is, feasting on the corpse of CBS News.

The long quarrel over #inequality usually boils down to two weak orthodoxies: let the winners win or redistribute until it stops.
Wang, Gong & Mao reveal in @economyandspace.bsky.social, a third, #China way: equality through state entrepreneurialism & resource-sharing.

Does nobody find it weird that America, the land of privatisation, sent state pirates rather than a privateer ship to steal that oil tanker? What happened to entrepreneurialism? What happened to plausible deniability? McCarthy is spinning in his hellhole.

And they say American entrepreneurialism is dead!
Disney to pay OpenAI a billion dollars to make it substantially easier for people to get Sora to make videos of Mickey Mouse smoking weed and doing 9/11

That hc is tied to employment kills me. America is NOT business friendly, it's corporation friendly. Innovation, entrepreneurialism, and employment market are stifled.

The best point was made by Shaun Ryder. He said if there were no unemployment benefits, there would have been no happy Mondays because they all didn’t have jobs in the 80’s and it encouraged them to be creative.

Is that not a working class form of entrepreneurialism?
