If this were the mass production colors for the Jager that'd 100% get my vote but at the end it kinda comes down to "the EZ-8 is one of my favorite gundams but the Jager isn't my favorite Gelgoog"

i think what messed with me was the gunpla artwork giving her (imo) pretty shit colours, the actual lineart colours are so good, i love the shade of pinkish-red she has.

Most of the gunpla kits I build are considerably older, so the GQX Gelgoog was a nice change of pace.
The one I built prior was the Gelgoog Marine, and the next one will probably be the Kampfer.

Most of the gunpla kits I build are considerably older, so the GQX Gelgoog was a nice change of pace.

At the very least "What if Reimu fought against mecha like Char's Zaku or Gelgoog or whatever" or "What if Reimu was a Newtype" would be a less pointless thesis for a fucking quadrilogy than "Mecha anime and my FIXED touhou is better than canon touhou lol" everyone's been doing for decades by now
I'd like to say that the moment in FMW's SSiB arc where Reimu uses Fantasy Nature was a Zeta Gundam Battle of Gryps Deus Ex Kamille reference but I'm not supposed to watch mecha anime anymore because someone else made a bad take over Emma Sheen ZetaGundam so I don't have the knowledge to confirm lol
Why bother with shit that takes 4 games to say the obvious "Mecha anime is better than soy-ass canon Touhou amirite" when you can skip that middleman like a normal person.

Yeah. Ultimately I was disappointed by the show overall but the excitement of new episodes was unmatched and I want more from that universe. I had so much fun with it and I love the designs from it. The Gelgoog especially.

A lot easier to build having done Bocata's Gelgoog previously. Still an overall awkward experience.
