*So* good. Moist, but with a slightly larger crumb than I'd have liked. I used the recipe from Grandbaby Cakes, and it came out fantastic.
And you can't beat a whipped cream frosting for a rich chocolate cake. After the decadence comes that ethereal sweetness . . . it's like eating clouds. 😋

Went to PA to visit the grandbaby. Turns out those babies sleep A LOT, so I took a walk and hit up a junk store. Found this spinner rack of Hot Wheels way in the back room. Owner refused to let be buy the lot. Ended up with these 10 @ $3 apiece. How do you think I did? (Answer in comments)

That will be amazing to meet the new grandbaby. And yeah, it's a bit rough right now on both things. It will happen. Ice was on Portland when I went, but nephew lived southwest of Portland proper so I didn't see anything. But they were a lot less aggressive there and at that time. So scary.

Codey had to be put down early Xmas morning 8 years ago due to cancer. I love 🐕 but couldn’t bring myself to get another one. Maybe when we move back up to NJ. But down here, no. I have a Pomsky furry grandbaby named Gatsby. He comes when my son drives down to visit like for the holidays.
