what makes a wacom intuos pro like £330 without a display..? you can genuinely get solid 14-16” display tablets for that price and im sure there are compromises just.. even the higher end competitor non-display tablets cap out at £150-200

No comm work until I get back home so I whipped up my good ol' Intuos Comic (it still works even after having it since 2017 bless ✨), also have a Gurei sketch as warm-up/re-familiarizing pfft

I'm practicing drawing with that Intuos I dug up and it seems I'm pretty good at lining up the cursor exactly where I want it (either because I use the mouse a lot anyway or wacom's pen tabs are just built different). I can't seem to fix my hand cramping like fuck when I use the pen too long

probably gonna be a while before I can draw good on the intuos but this tablet kinda rules so I'll learn. I'm not sure how to map the ring to do stuff like volume adjustment though.
also the pen does like a click? when touch the surface at an angle. what is that for.

I switched from big Cintiq to intuos and tbh it is ergonomically better but- and this is very unique to an individual- I really do need the big drawing surface to do my best work. I occasionally pull the Cintiq back out; it immediately destroys my shoulder but feels like

i think i need to sell my wacom intuos medium tablet i am like, phenomenally bad at using this thing FKJLSDAFLKJ i don't know what i do but smth abt when i use it gives me wrist/hand pain and i usually never get pain when i draw!!!!!!

been using a cintiq for half a year now and i believe that compared to the intuos it's just really a matter of prefference, Cintiq personally allows me to space out and lock in and perform strokes the same way i'd do it on paper by its own design. think there's any need to update of you're comfy with ur intuos. I wish my cintiq were bigger personally but the prices are a bit ridiculous alas. Conclusion: it's good, but it's not a be all end all.

oh yeah that bit of handwriting was the first thing i've done with my tablet in. a decade. i wanna start getting over my anxiety and my trauma surrounding drawing so i'm gonna try using it from time to time, with simple stuff to begin with. maybe it goes somewhere maybe it doesn't, i Will See
