#LemonSqueezy
It's an incredibly flexible platform that sort of splits the difference between having your own direct store (like shopify or lemonsqueezy or payhip) by giving you lots of options and being on a retailer with discoverability and not having to worry about things like VAT.

Tests are always important, but even more so when dealing with e-commerce. Let’s write a full integration test for our LemonSqueezy webhook so we can sleep easy at night! 😴
Writing an Integrational Test for Webhooks
Previously, we set up a webhook that saves the customer ID of the user who placed an order. Webhooks are both incredibly useful and *slightly* terrifying

Dica boa:

Pega uma feature de um produto GIGANTE e faz só essa feature com um UX bom e vende um pouco mais caro

Ex:

A lemonsqueezy era uma competidora da Stripe. A taxa era maior e usa a stripe como gateway 🤯

Stripe comprou

Framer makes selling easy with Stripe or Lemonsqueezy links— I apply this solution to sell my templates.

The new Shopify integration is a game-changer, letting you fully design product pages and carts for perfect customisation.

My free @framer.com template, Nexia, has been downloaded 22 times on #lemonsqueezy! 🙌

It’s not a huge number, but it’s a start—and every download means the world to me. Onward and upward! 🚀

If you want to grab it too, check the link below 👇

The authors circle I work with has started working with a new digital marketplace called LemonSqueezy, and after reviewing their offer and showing my business plan, I now have my own storefront for selling digital goods, like books, artworks, & guides. Check it out!

Taken from Scribe Count. This is an infrequent reminder that if you direct readers to direct store fronts (I use StoryOrigin's Integration with Lemonsqueezy) or semi-direct store fronts like Itchio, many of them *will* choose those over Amazon. And you will get a larger chunk of the royalties.

1/ Meet Steph Smith. Creator of "Internet Pipes". Sells it for $500 on Gumroad, but openly nudges buyers to Lemonsqueezy where it's $400. That's a $100 incentive to switch. 💡

Yes but it doesn't seem like their strategy is to fold Lemonsqueezy into their core product, similar to how they acquired Taxjar. My guess is they want provide continuity for existing customers while growing their bench to build new products.

Would be nice to have a quick demo of what the service is offering. Btw lemonsqueezy is a well known saas tool (recently acquired as well). I'm not sure if you hurt or help yourself by using the same brand name pattern.

I was looking at this interview by the CTO of LemonSqueezy who ALWAYS is on some random side-project.

Pretty cool way to think of it!

Step 8 — Setup payment and delivery

→ Set a price
→ Set up payment
→ Set page as public

📌 Example: You can deliver your product in the following places:

• Notion Template Gallery
• Gumroad marketplace
• Lemonsqueezy
• Squarespace

I wonder why #lemonsqueezy takes a higher cut for PayPal payouts outside the US.

Aren't PayPal fees always the same?

is lemonsqueezy the only place to purchase your assets?

With the help of windsurf, I set up Lemon Squeezy on my website, aiteach.tools, in just half a day!

It’s now much easier to handle payments and sales.

I'm also looking at payment providers and MoR right now. The most common alternative to Lemonsqueezy is Paddle I would say. Pretty similar pricing. I've heard of Paypro global too but I don't know if it's good.

I'm interested in your findings. I'm reading lots of negative things about lemonsqueezy right now and think about switching now before having too many users in our tool so that migration won't be a big issue.
However I really like some features of LS and didn't have issues so far so yeah not sure..

🤦‍♂️ Why does every acquired product go to shit?

It's almost a universal law that once a great product gets acquired you are forced to switch because it will turn into a big mess.

LemonSqueezy has been brutally tanking with outages, data leaks etc.

Postmark been down for 9.5 hours recently. {1/2}
