#Lothal
Lothal / Harappans seem like a good guess, they're about as old as anything we'd call "civilization," though it's probably an unanswerable question

Is Lothal the best realistic guess? It's got probably the world's oldest dock.

It is mainly the massive recruitment to the Imperial Military in the Outer and Inner Rim that provided that initial boost. This effectively was stimulus to worlds like Lothal. That big bump after decades of Austerity and years of war is a big deal. Think of it like the Marshall Plan but well evil

I wanted to stay. It's funny, no matter what happens, we always end up back here, on Lothal.

This is literally a scene from the first episode of the Star Wars Rebels cartoon, intended to show in a heavy-handed way the corruption and petty tyranny of the imperial occupation of Lothal.

Glad that ICE is fully committed to making sure that we know who the villains are

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

So here's a smattering of some of my favorites from this year.

I found this particular deck of old #Sabacca cards tucked away in Wallaway's Pawn in Capital City, on Lothal. The cards probably originated there, as a cultural studies friend of mine pointed out the #design is itself common to Lothal.

#StarWars #OC #Lore
That's a beautiful deck! Where's it from?

"There has been a great disturbance in the Force. The death of Kanan Jarrus has altered the fate of Lothal, though how I cannot say."

The Empire around this time is closing its fist on worlds like Lothal, or vast farmworlds like Mina-Rau, but something like Ansion, with its specific history, probably doesn't get full Imperial Destroyers out very often. It's got 2 Dreadnoughts and That's It until it becomes a Problem.

A Kanan Jarrus le pega un spin off de él solo en Lothal, en plan abriéndose una yonkilata de cerveza un lunes a las 11:30.

I'd add The Siege of Lothal to that list. After the prequel movies turned Darth Vader into an emo preppy, that two-parter restored Vader into being a genuinely scary badass - especially when you weren't one of his blood relatives.

We've seen time and again a lot of community just sorta...deal with the problems themselves at the end of the day.

Lothal rose up against its oppressors an The Mandalorians took it upon themselves getting rid of the Empire.

2600 BCE.
Lothal dockyard. World’s oldest. Still there.
Harappans trading lapis with Mesopotamia while Europe was painting itself blue and screaming at trees.
But textbooks say they “mysteriously vanished.”
Vanished into the same cupboard as all the inconvenient evidence, apparently.
