I'm just talking about how ChatGPT uses em-dashes every-fucking-where, to the point that I’ve started to avoid them. I was reviewing some of my old writing (talking 2005 here) and I saw several em-dashes... and felt a moment of suspicion of myself.

I have a thing for people who live in extreme conditions: Antarctica bases, an island in the middle of nowhere, a hut on top of a peak. Both individuals and communities. It fascinates me, even though I’d never do it myself. I guess seeing how resilient we can be is kind of inspiring.
