Could also be an NVA unit, but I want to see this movie. Oooh, or the two groups working hand in hand and the NVA gets wrecked to make the Predator seem even more threatening.
I was thinking earlier that you could do a tremendous Predator movie where the protagonists are a Viet Cong patrol and the Predator to some degree represents their experience of US military’s combination of arrogance, superior firepower and technology, and ability to inflict terror.
Predator and Aliens work well as Vietnam movies because they often capture the hubris and chaos of small-unit engagements in the war. But I think analysis that pegs it to Vietnam sometimes misses the fact that the xeno (broadly speaking) is portrayed as a superior organism

Because we forget it in modern myth but the NVA was a “real ass army” with “real ass tanks” so you can’t just write it all off as a few farmers being paid to point a mortar tube with a block of ice in the bottom at a COP

E.g., in the 1970s and 1980s, a Computer would simply have: „Passwort:“ or „Passwort?“ or even English „PASSWORD:“ on the screen. A Bundeswehr guard of the same time would probably have asked: „WIE LAUTET DIE PAROLE?“; not sure about NVA guards though.

yo de herramientas tengo pocas porque la gran mayoría no son muy éticas... 😥 desde 1 punto de vista gráfico y open source gimp, scribus... funcionan bien, aunque son más limitados que ad*be, y c*nva esta bien también para salir del paso pero ético ético no es y hay bastante chicha mala con c*nva :/

De Wever laten vallen en nieuwe verkiezingen.

Er is vooral weinig of niks veranderd, ook al beweert #NVA altijd dat het met hun anders zal worden. Belangrijke beslissingen worden uitgesteld tot na de zoveelste deadline. Uiteindelijk wordt het een macho, nachtelijk, potje armworstelen. #begroting

The Indian Wars, the Phillipines, Haiti and Nicaragua in the 1920's, Vietnam, Nicaragua and El Salvador again in the 80's. As for would have, I "did" for Iraq and would love to get to the Ghan. Small wars are pretty enjoyable. It's the big ones, with days of artillery fire and inhuman brutality that take the fun out of fighting. But small wars (and Iraq and Afghanistan are indeed small wars) provide the rush of small combat actions along with the intellectual challenge of building personal relationships and infrastructure within the local community. Small wars are thinking wars, which I much prefer over the bloody slugfests of great power conventional warfare.
