i have a friend who proudly always loves that one album that a band makes right when they get bad (he got so fired up when i found a tape of def leppard "adrenalize" in my house) and he is a huge animalize evangelist. he will also go to bad for OU812

Not to further burden Rachel Maddow, considering she helped me keep a good chunk of my remaining sanity for years--
But we'd be SO much better off if MS-OU812 (or whatever it is now) could get her back 5x/week. She reports WHAT'S HAPPENING. Shockingly, she also gives me hope. IDK how, but she does.

van halen just kind sucks at midtempo and never made a good midtempo song before or after l’ll Wait so it makes sense OU812 is such a dud in their catalogue
