Pierce County is investigating all deputies who responded to a felony DUI crash by one of its commanders.

Stoicism has a lot to commend it at times. Not a code to live by most of the time... too severe, too passive.
But a mindset of ... endure, for now, self-preservation w/o rigor mortis, don't wither, or flare up & die, keep some powder dry (that rhymes!), signs of life... there are times for that.

And how much ends up being diverted to provide services in other areas. I suspect money for school street pilots in my area have been used for policing. 3yrs funding - no school streets but my child was asked if he wanted to be escorted to school by a PCSO one day. PCSO didn't turn up.

Leave the twat up there, with a single PCSO at the base of the tower. No need for massed emergency services and road closures.
