You don't get my vote by putting on the Jackboots and stamping on any minority.
Maybe if the government she is part of wasn't so intent on pursuing transphobic policies then maybe this campaign might have some merit. But until @charlotte2153.bsky.social us prepared to call for real change from the Labour leadership then it's pointless froth. They ought to be ashamed.
On Brianna's 19th birthday, this morning I joined @cheshirepcc.bsky.social and the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project Phone Free Education campaign at the launch at Jodrell Bank of a new £150k initiative to make Cheshire the first county in the UK where ALL state high schools have lockable phone pouches.

I have a deep dislike of airports. Nothing makes you feel more dehumanised.
Train stations on the other hand fill me full of possibilities.
Anyway off to Copenhagen for a very quick trip to sort out schools for the kiddo.

Seems a bit mean to blame Transport for Wales (tfw) for the rise of fascists. But on the other hand if I have to get another bus down to Cardiff Bay it may be justified.
TFW you're blamed for the fash taking over because you have standards in who you'll vote for like "only people who don't have fashy tattoos on their bodies".

Do you know what? It IS working. It hasn't caused tailbacks, quite the opposite actually. More importantly it's saved the lives of at least a dozen kids. Reform are actually campaigning for the return of more deaths and injuries. Absolutely bonkers.

2025 another disastrous year for glaciers in Switzerland - Reporters Online

The first line made me laugh. For "many" we should read "very few".
🚊 Many UK cities have tram and metro systems – but the small scale limits the shift away from cars.

Enroute’s 2050 Vision calls for expanded networks in cities over 200k people - easing congestion, cleaning our air & boosting local economies. 🔗 https://bit.ly/46Wifhl

Everyone should know about this and understand the nature of what Nigel Farage and Reform are.
Hatefilled, bigots the lot of them. We must stand with our minorities and call this shit out.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

It's like they've never heard of induced demand.
Moor Farm roundabout on the A19 needs an upgrade!

Fixing it will:

🏘️ Unlock thousands of new homes
🚑 Make it quicker and easier to access the hospital at Cramlington
🚘 Ease traffic for thousands each day

@emmafoodymp.bsky.social and I are pushing this hard and will continue to until it’s sorted!

They should be ashamed of themselves

This is a good point being made for the separation of high speed express lines from commuter lines. HS2 needs to be completed in full and extended to at least Carstairs to allow more stopping services.
We fully support Chathill Rail Action Group on their campaign to improve rail services to rural Northumberland. Instead of dualling of the A1, which will do nothing to reduce traffic in the area, politicians should be focussed on local rail improvements.

Oh look, Robert Jenrick is talking absolute nonsense about migration again

Here's what he doesn't want you to know:

Migration is good for this country - the real problem is that his govt destroyed our public services

Time to break up the Home Office and fund our communities

Very happy to see this happening. The consultation document for the Burns Stations stated that services would be run by either TfW or GWR. Never understood how anyone would think GWR would be politically acceptable. www.railmagazine.com/news/transpo...

Normal pricing Abergavenny to Bridgend return £24.30 (Anytime fare source TfW app). Payg was already offering great value for many passengers this offer makes it better. Just a pity GWR don't want to play ball. (Cross-country quite happy to accept Payg passengers)
