So many completely unbecoming things about him. This ranks high up on that list.

Idk why idiots like Jack Proboscis or whatever think comparisons to Kirk are sensical.

People celebrate Kirk's death b/c he was a hateful asshole who deserved to get popped.
Rob Reiner was an actual human being.

I guess Proboscis didn't check with Felon Don before making a fool of himself AGAIN.

📰 Mosquitos use it to suck blood. Researchers used it to 3-D print

A mosquito proboscis repurposed as a 3-D printing nozzle can print filaments around 20 micrometers wide, half the width of a fine human hair.

Here is your Monday Moth. I think this pretty little insect is Portentomorpha xanthialis. They're found from the southern U.S. down into S. America; this one was in Colombia. #bugsky 🐙🌿

Pink zinnia with small skipper on the summit, proboscis has a bit of yellow pollen on it ... big, brown skipper eyes, too #Invert

I spent years studying these baby squid who think they're baby elephants, and grow a proboscis accordingly. It later unzips to become adult tentacles. (Fig 3B from Vidal and Shea, photo credit: L. Ianniello.) But they're not the only ones with aspirations for the savannah...

Probably one of the most 'alien-like' species, the ribbon worm spits a living, tree-like proboscis to hunt it prey.

A hummingbird moth keychain.
This little guy will be available soon in my shop. It's also one of my fave insect related pieces I've done, so I'll submit it too to the #invertefest book entries :D

It's #WorldMonkeyDay today! Despite being only a few short branches away from us on the tree of life, more than half of all primate species (monkeys included!) face extinction. By studying and protecting the natural world, we secure a brighter future not just for the monkeys, but ourselves as well.

REGIONAL BUG

- Boskito
- Pipetien
- Mostoculex (Bug/Poison)

I'm really proud of this line (since I redesigned them within the last year) and their names!
Boskito = proboscis/mosquito/-ito(small)
Pipetien = pipette/pipiens (species name)
Mostoculex = mosquito/toxic/culex (scientific name)

Not gonna resort to tylenol, tho. No siree! Not while theres PBR 6.5% AKA Kerosine Light.

I mean, what if some hostile alien shoves its proboscis down my throat and lays a bajillion eggs? You want those aliens to also have super powers? No! Fetal alcohol syndrome for'em, to defend the home planet.

Moths Seen Drinking Moose Tears for the First Time Ever
Moths sometimes drink the tears of other animals, but the behavior has mostly been observed in the tropics. New photographs show only the second observation outside of that area
