If that's how you frame things... I don't ascribe too much value to infrequent/high-variance plays like deep balls. I value a QB's ability to sustain an offense, working all areas of the field at all levels, as well as a quick/flexible release, off-platform ability, and ability to manage the pocket.

I had not heard of pokerole though a quick skim does have me interested in some of its parts, it's inclusion of league rules is quiet neat & I may borrow it

My thoughts on Jones is he really struggles with spatial awareness and system command, not the best anticipatory thrower and not a quick release. Those are the things that really help in a Shanahan offense, but I would say it’s the best chance he has and kudos to him if he makes it work.

Alec Burks has had some major impact in limited minutes this season, but he has clearly realized the vision that Spo and Riley had for him joining this roster. He’s shooting 50% from deep and 85.7% (!!!) from the right corner. His off ball movement and quick release paying dividends in our offense.
