I’m relieved New Yorkers aren’t known to hold a grudge. Otherwise they might remember the Congressmen who refused to endorse the people’s choice for mayor when it comes time for those reelections.

It affects their constituents. Many of them represent districts Biden/Harris won. They’re likely to lose their reelections anyway, but they’ll definitely lose if they don’t get ACA enhanced subsidies restored.
