Russell Moore was EIC of Christianity Today. Moore is Extremely Evangelical, formerly president of the Southern Baptist Convention's public policy arm. He has been at war with his coreligionists over Trump since the 2016 cycle, which is why he's *formerly* president of the SBC's public policy arm.

Simply adding more qualifications to your CV isn’t a guaranteed path to success.

We've seen countless professionals burdened by debt from advanced degrees, still struggling to find clients. Why? They focused on credentials instead of marketing.

See the SBC's website for support and resources.

Jesus never commanded Christians to seize power.
He warned them about swords.

SBC's Clint Pressley deserves to hear from you.

“Let the one without sin cast the first stone.” — John 8:7
If you want to write a message to the President of the SBC over his defending evil in a Cities Church Pastor overseeing the horrific abuses of ICE in Minnesota, you can do so here.

NOTE: disruption in Minnesota/church is a a Southern Baptist church. Men lead/sexism/racism rooted in SBC 16mil strong w/huge influence. Note too: both unusual in-church disrupters, & SBC's prez & leaders remarks: “Disrupting a church’s worship service to make a political point is disgraceful. 🔎

I also just remembered Russell Moore. I don't think much of him. His theology is patriarchal trash. BUT, he did have power in the denomination, he did try to untangle SBC from Donald Trump in 2016 and speak out about SBC's sex abuse scandal and the old guard SBC ate him alive. He is no longer SBC.

No, it’s not. But he would like it to be, and is actively working to take over the SBC’s leadership. Wolfe has stated repeatedly that if you control the SBC, you control all of Evangelicalism for Christian Nationalism. He is a racist sack of garbage who doesn’t deserve the light of day.

If you don’t I will. SBC’s can be started with a clenched fist and some swear words. Throw a battery in it, pull the air cleaner, hose down the carb with starter fluid and let’er rip!

An attorney for the Becket Center for Religious Liberty defended the SBC's case before the TN Supreme Court yesterday, saying the church autonomy doctrine protects the convention from Preston Garner's defamation case. My report on the hearing: www.tennessean.com/story/news/r...
SBC oversight group faces TN Supreme Court defamation case challenge
Former East Tennessee minister Preston Garner sued the SBC for defamation, leveling a major threat to the oversight group that reviews abuse reports.

My oldest nibling, Small Beloved Child, insisted on being Gromit for Halloween this year. The baby was Feathers McGraw, my brother-in-law was Wallace, and my sister, at SBC's direction, was The Wrong Trousers.

I am going to impress SBC with my new sound effect knowledge.

Couldn’t even enjoy my Christmas without seeing SBC’s latest take on autism 🤦🏻‍♀️
www.autismresearchcentre.com/content/uplo... Making sure people see this from Prof Simon Baron Cohen, who has a new idea. Let's divide autistic people into Type 1 (with a learning disability) and Type 2 (without a learning disability). Hands up all those who can spot the problems?

Fascinating point. This could explain the SBC's extremely irresponsible views on Clergy SA. The 2026 candidates for SBC president need to step up and address this issue. Willy Rice I'm talking to you!

Allowing Denhollander to occupy dual roles served the institutional interests of the Southern Baptist Convention. She gave a veneer of legitimacy to the SBC's image-repair efforts & allowed the institution to present a public face of caring about abuse. #ThisistheSBC

Tech is the only exception that comes to mind.
Phones, laptops, broadband, watches (and other wearables), Raspberry Pi's (and other SBC's), vape mods, smart homes, spinal implants, you get the idea but Moore's law is definitely an exception.

Racism, ableism, any bigotry, hate, up.
Compassion, down.

3/ The most vile thing about Meg’s letter and the SBC defense of Sills is that it reminds us of the SBC’s willful and systematic dehumanization of women. In SBC culture women are only treated as if they have full agency and voice when it suits leadership, particularly in protecting their own.
