Turns out heightmap SDF queries were returning distance to a flat plane, with that fixed I can now create slopes and depressions in the landscape
Unfortunately this reveals just how rough my QEF minimization approach still is, look at those jagged edges 😅

Many will be thinking about hitting the slopes this winter in the middle of a snowstorm, getting a buzz as they fly down the side of a mountain.

I am thinking about those same slopes but working my way around the trees, capturing beautiful moments in time.

Yay! I finally graduated from the bunny slopes to green slopes today skiing at Big Sky :)

And the kiddo is getting snowboarding lessons and is almost ready to as well!
