#Stikfas
Dug up my c. 2010 Losi Micro-T tonight, to see if the battery would take a charge after several years languishing in a box (it did)

Apparently i added a driver to the car

Mr. Xevoz (sometimes with no period, an underscore, or all one word) comes from an obscure action figure line from Hasbro in the 2000s called Xevoz which was based off of an even more obscure line of model kits called Stikfas.

Pronounced Zee-Vohs, rhymes with “see those.”

Genuinely contemplating breaking out my old Stikfas and modifying one to look like the Murderbot action figured.

131) Xevoz Bone Cutter. Xevoz was, to the best of my understanding, a game/ action figure line built off the Stikfas ball-and-socket design, making them super-posable and interchangeable. This pretty lady came with extra heads, arms, and weapons. How cool is she? And she came in a two-pack with...

129) More Stikfas. I was going to make these individual posts for different reasons, but decided it'd get a little repetitive. So please note the samurai armor, the Stikfas skeleton, the SDCC freebie fig, and the warrior monk with their new "G2" double-jointed arms and legs. They're all very cool.

128) Stikfas Mechana. A big wonderful chunk of retro robot. Articulated fingers, gigantic feet, multijointed arms, options for a head-antennae or an Iron Giant-style fin. And a teddy bear. Because why not. Maybe there were cooler, better Stikfas sets, in some senses, but I absolutely love this guy.

127) Stikfas Warrior with Dragon. Love that the dragon got second billing with this set. It's a gorgeous figure, but also shows off some of the limits of the ball-and-socket Stikfas construction. The head and wings droop over time but still... they were on display for about fifteen years or so.

126) Stikfas! These were basically minimalist action figures you built yourself. Every set had a basic, core figure and a BIG selection of options. I found them oddly addictive as a collector, but I'll just show off a few highlights. Like these green army men, one of the first sets they put out.

what was up with the early 00s fixation on stick figures...... they were all over flash games and animations (surely xiaoxiao wasnt the source?) and you even had toys like cube world or stikfas on the aesthetic

Man, I used to love Stikfas! I think I still have a few lurking around the house somewhere.

It's funny, the first time I built a Blokees it reminded me of these and Stikfas. Xevoz was so much fun, having a ton of weapons and multiple heads.

One of the problems with Stikfas was that over time, the plastic got pretty brittle, which cost me the retro robot. Still bummed about it.

Remember stikfas? Those were cool.

hasbro had stikfas and discontinued them?? dang, those looked so cool and i really wanted some. they seemed the logical next step after my bionicle / technic creatures phase (i couldn't store all my LEGO at college, gave it away) but i didn't have any money spare
