Besides his permanent scars and his legs getting a lot more toned from HW on (thanks Estinien), he lost pretty large amounts of weight during his recoveries post-Stormblood and post-Endwalker which took him a while to regain.
He thinks he'd look better without the scars.

another one: it took me until late stormblood to realize that enemies and bosses have cast bars that tell you what they're going to do (i thought everyone else memorized all the boss attack patterns and timings and that's how you were supposed to know how to dodge certain attacks)

Male Miqo, Male Miqo, though I did have a brief stint in Stormblood where was I was Male Au Ra. I chose it because I remember being a Mithra in XI and wanted to finally play one of the cat boys. Au Ra was cause I thought they looked cool, but in the end, I cannot leave the male miqo /joy pull.

i’ve said this b4 but if kiril and yesui are heavensward ocs gale is a stormblood oc so his character beats abt like, loyalty to his homeland/pride in his culture/finding his place in it are messy and flawed & he’s not meant to be like, right about any of it. that’s his arc and he starts off Wrong
