I finished #storyofyanxipalace and absolutely loved it! It’s took me a week and a half to watch this #cdrama with dedication. There was a little calm around episode 50 but the pace of the drama was fast and the entire 70 episodes didn’t feel long at all. Each episode is about 45 minutes. 5 stars

Not sure it meets the criteria of older, but from previous years I saw #StoryofYanxiPalace. It absolutely destroyed me. One of the best things I have seen period. I am still not over one of the characters in particular.

I ended up really liking #NirvanaInFire, but it took me some time to get into it (I needed to skip ahead to ep 20 or something when I first watched it)
I prefer the palace dramas
For me #EmpressesinthePalace & #StoryofYanxiPalace are roughly neck & neck - it’s hard to separate them

I ended up really liking #NirvanaInFire, but it took me some time to get into it (I needed to skip ahead to ep 20 or something when I first watched it)
