I don't think I ever posted my Huk refsheet redraw. It's not coloured, because they come in MANY patterns and 'morphs' just like goats and sheep. But they are very well loved by the Asah people as mounts and travelling buddies and are featured often in art motifs and carving

HUK (refsheet) Diet: Omnivore (rodents/plants) Lifespan: 18-20 cycles Height: 4.5-5.5ft at withers Weight: up to 500lb Temperament: Friendly/Loyal Role: Light mount, fiber yield Huk horns can grow up to 2 feet long, but are filed and shaped to be safer for riders. Fancy Huk beard braiding is an art! The hair of the male’s crest is stiffened and is rarely trimmed Healthy Huk paws are oiled and well cared for to keep them from cracking and causing pain. Huks are slim and swift, but cannot carry larger riders for long distances. They have been bred to be sturdier than wild varieties, but remain light mounts. These creatures vocalize differently depending on age. Young fawns chirp and trill, while older animals make a variety of bugles, warbling cries and even purrs and chitters. They’re quite talkative and will not hesitate to tell you if they’re hungry, or if danger is about. Their main body fur is short and smooth, with much longer tufts at the joints. However, the males grow extensive beards, crests and a thick chest ruff that is trimmed during certain times of the cycle, to be used for weaving or spinning. This hair is very silky when well cared for and creates comfortable clothing that grows softer with every wash. After passing, their tanned leather is thin and flexible. Huks are personable creatures who have been domesticated and bred for many centuries now, by the Asah. They serve mainly as swift mounts to cross the ragged wastes and ruins, where the slight webbing between their pawpads gives them both purchase on the sand, and the dexerity to grab onto rougher terrain. Female Huks breed at the end of the dry season, gestate for a full cycle and a half, to give birth to 1-2 fawn in the middle of the storm season, when the young have the best chances. Along with the beards, Huk tails are often braided and decorated with beads and patterned ribbon for festivals or events. The designs vary on the event, and the region.
